Eastern Michigan vs. Michigan: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio and Game Time

The Eastern Michigan Eagles head to Ann Arbor for a showdown with the Michigan Wolverines. The pageantry of last week's game against Notre Dame will be missing, but we may be in store for some surprises.

A game such as the one we saw last Saturday between Michigan and Notre Dame is bound to have repercussions. There is no way that much emotion gets poured into The Big House without the players feeling some sort of hangover.

Bray Hoke has that in the back of his mind as the Wolverines take on a deceptively good Eastern Michigan squad. Let's take a deeper look at this clash of in-state rivals.

Point Spread: Michigan -30

Key Storyline: Michigan seems to be back on track following some humbling years. They will need to continue the resurgence that played out in front of a packed house against Notre Dame last week. 

Denard Robinson is one of the most electrifying players in the nation. College football fans will need to see a consistent effort if the Wolverines are to be taken seriously for the rest of the season.   

Who Might Not Play for Eastern Michigan: No Key injuries at this time.

Who Might Not Play for Michigan: Fitz Toussaint RB, probable (shoulder).

BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications: Michigan is knocking on the door. With a commanding win and a slip by anyone from No. 17 on down, and the Wolverines will find themselves back in the good graces of voters. 

As Saturday approaches, both scenarios seem entirely possible. The Wolverines should be a top-25 team when they square off against San Diego State in their next game, Sept. 24th.  

What They're Saying: 

Former Michigan rushing star Mike Hart is now a EMU coach. Here is what he had to say: "Honestly, I have a job to do. So I think once you get in there, I'm so focused on the task at hand that I probably really won't notice. When I walk in it might be, 'Whoa, I'm on the other sideline,' but I've got a job to do."

Brady Hoke talks about a linebacker shuffle, including the emergence of Desmond Morgan. "There will be a rotation,” Hoke said during his weekly press conference Monday. “...It really depends some on what package we are in, if we are playing out of a base front or if we are getting into our dimes and nickels."

Eastern Michigan Player to Watch: Javonti Greene. The Eastern Michigan running back has put together two outstanding games, both of which saw him net over 100 yards rushing. He will be targeted early by the Wolverines linebackers. 

Michigan Player to Watch: There are several reasons to watch this game. The one that really matters is Denard Robinson. Last week proved that the QB had matured and is willing to lead the Wolverines in their 2011 campaign. 

I am confident he will build on a game that saw him pass for over 300 yards and nab three touchdowns. The interceptions must be limited, though.  

Key Matchup: Eastern Michigan has been stingy to start the season, allowing just 16 points in two games. That defense will not only need to be inspired, they will need to be perfect to limit Denard Robinson as he looks to pick apart the defense.  

On the Hot Seat: Both coaches are sitting pretty at the moment.
