North Texas vs. Alabama: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio, Game Time and More
The North Texas Mean Green have the unenviable task of proving their worth against the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night. Alabama are not without their issues, but they are hardly the kind that would see them let this game slip through their fingers.
North Texas has been on the losing side against collegiate also rans. I don't see how this weekend will fare any differently.
Here is an in-depth look at Alabama's best shot to open the season at 3-0.

Betting Line: No line on Bodog.eu as of Wednesday evening.
Key Storyline: The ongoing saga will remain around the Crimson Tide's huddle. Head coach Nick Saban has not yet confirmed whether Alabama has a No. 1 quarterback, between AJ McCarron and Phillip Sims.
We can read between the lines, as McCarron took all the snaps last week. This will be what many center their attention on before kickoff. Alabama simply can't have this big of a question before they play some real monsters.
Who Might Not Play For North Texas: Center JJ Johnson, Questionable; OLB Jeremy Phillips, Out
Who Might Not Play For Alabama: No key injuries at this time
BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications: You can bet that there is a great deal of BCS and Poll implications taking place on Saturday.
Alabama needs to wipe the floor with North Texas, and they need to do it all game. They can't have a scare late in the game. Such a tight game against the Mean Green would raise questions in voters. It would invariably hurt their claim once the BCS rankings are released.
What They're Saying:
North Texas head coach Dan McCarney was optimistic after last week's loss to Houston, "I thought we played with great emotion in the first half, and we were feeding off the energy from that great crowd. Unfortunately, it is a four-quarter game and we didn't maintain that energy in the second half."
Beat writer Don Kausler describes the feel of last week's Crimson Tide victory. "Alabama was quite impressive in its 27-11 victory. It would have been more impressive if the Crimson Tide had kept the Nittany Lions out of the end zone for a second consecutive season, but the touchdown that Penn State scored late in the fourth quarter was inconsequential."
North Texas Player To Watch: The one player to make note of on Saturday for North Texas is Brelan Chancellor. The stout receiver has been the impetus of the North Texas offense. He will be called upon to move the sticks.
Alabama Player To Watch: You are fortunate enough to have two players to watch. One running back will be keyed on by the defense, leaving the other to wreak havoc.
Trent Richardson will command the full attention of North Texas. However, Eddie Lacy will be the reason you have a smile on your face on Saturday.
Key Matchup: Alabama has one of the best running games in the nation. North Texas will be the door that Nick Saban will target with his battering ram.
This will be a ground and pound game that I am afraid the Mean Green are ill prepared for.
On the Hot Seat: North Texas' Dan McCarney and Alabama's Nick Saban are safe for the time being.
Prediction: Alabama 41, North Texas 12
