Oklahoma vs. Florida State: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More
Oklahoma is heading down to Florida State in Week 3 of college football action for another great matchup early in the season.
The Sooners are ranked No. 1 overall and will need a big win over the Seminoles to hold on to the top spot. Florida State on the other hand is ranked No. 5, so a win over the top ranked team would go a long way to propel them up a few spots in the rankings.
Simply put, this is going to be a huge game. The Sooners may be the better team according to the ranking, but I can all but guarantee you that Florida State is going to play their best game of the season. The atmosphere is going to be incredible.
Both teams know that this game would be a marquee win on the path to a BCS title.
This is definitely the best game this weekend, and will not disappoint.

Oklahoma Injury Report:
Linebacker Travis Lewis—broken bone in left big toe. Expected to miss eight weeks since training camp. It's been about six weeks and reports state that he is feeling good. For now, it looks questionable, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
Florida State Injury Report:
Receiver Bert Reed—ankle injury—wore a boot Monday. He was out of the boot Tuesday and is expected to get back to practice by Thursday at the latest.
Cornerback Xavier Rhodes—leg injury—was in a boot Monday, out of it Tuesday, held out of practice for an extra day but is expected to be in good shape.
Receiver Willie Haulstead—concussion—likely he won't be on the field come game day.
BCS/Top 25 Poll Implications:
Simply put, this game means everything for both teams and their BCS hopes. If No. 1 ranked Oklahoma loses to the No. 5 ranked Seminoles they are definitely going to fall down the rankings. Consequently, Florida State could make a huge jump with a win. The type of win and the way the game plays out will be a factor, but the winner of this game will be looking good, while the loser is going to be behind the BCS eight ball.
What They're Saying:
Mike Baldwin of NewsOK.com writes about Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops and how he has coached in a lot of big games, and won a lot of them. Lately, his teams have come up short though. This will obviously be a huge game for Stoops and the Sooners.
Bud Elliott of Tomahawk Nation wonders if Oklahoma will force the Seminoles' receivers to play physical at the line. Their wide receiver corp is somewhat banged up, so he feels they will have to prove themselves against such an elite opponent. They will have to step up.
Oklahoma Player To Watch:
I think quarterback Landry Jones is the obvious choice here. He's one of the best in the nation, and he seems to have a knack at making big plays in big moments. He's very talented and will be exciting to watch.
Florida State Player to Watch:
Quarterback E.J. Manuel has waited his turn and done his time at Florida State, and now it's time for him to shine. He's taken over the offense and shown us that he is worth the wait. He has tremendous accuracy and can put up some big numbers.
Key Matchup:
I will be interested to see how the Seminoles offense can hold up against the Sooners defense, especially with the injuries they have at receiver. Answering to points scored and not getting behind big is going to be key for Florida State.
Key Storyline:
The obvious BCS implications are huge in this game, as well as the stage. These two teams meeting in Tallahassee is going to inspire an incredible atmosphere considering what is on the line.
Prediction:
I think the Seminoles will surprise some people and hang with Oklahoma for most of the game. In the end though, the Sooners are obviously the better team and I think that will propel them to victory.
