Xavi Praises FC Barcelona, Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez

FC Barcelona midfielder Xavi has praised Barcelona, Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez. The news was published in Goal.com as well as UEFA.com.

Xavi talked about how the signings of Fabregas and Sanchez will further strengthen a team that  previously won the 2010-2011 UEFA Champions League and La Liga seasons. Xavi expressed hope that Fabregas and Sanchez will fit in at Barca.

Xavi stated that Sanchez will be ready for matches as soon as he recovers from injuries to his hamstring. Xavi denied that Fabregas or Sanchez are threats to his position at Barca.

Xavi also denied that Fabregas is his successor by stating that each player has his own personality. I agree with Xavi when he made his declaration about the state of FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona and AC Milan face each other today in the Group H Stage of the UEFA Champions League. The site of the match is at Camp Nou in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The match is expected to be a strong one between two great teams. The only negative in this match is that it's too bad these teams did not face each other at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida, during the World Football Challenge in August 2011.
