Michigan Wolverines Week 2 Uniforms: Love or Hate?

Do you love or hate Michigan's Week 2 uniforms?

I'll grade each part and comment on the "throw-back" uniforms the Wolverines are wearing tonight.

Helmet: 8/10

For the most part, they look just like the helmets we're used to.  Except, there's that little number under the "wing."  It looks out of place.  However, since they're not that easy to see, I won't knock them too much for it.

Jersey: 2/10

What...were...they...thinking?  Seriously, these things are hideous!  The stripes draw my attention away from the play on the field, they're so distracting.  I understand the big block "M" on the chest, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, either.

Some things are better left in the past and these jerseys are definitely one of them.

Pants: 10/10

What do you say against pants that are simple and pure?  I suppose an argument could be made that they blind the person watching the game, but is that any different than normal?  They're classic. 

Shoes 9/10

Again, they're simple.  They're not as flashy as Boise State's or anything like that.  Just simple black with a couple of white stripes. Good football shoe, used for stomping on people, not as a fashion statement.

Gloves 8/10

There's nothing too flashy about these either, and I like that.  Unis are okay to "fancy up", but not gloves.  They're to be utilitarian.  Michigan keeps it that way.

Overall 5/10

I'm sorry, but I can't get past the shirts.  I mean really.  They're like a train wreck you can't take your eyes off of.  You want to puke at the carnage and yet you keep looking.  They really should have left these jerseys where they belonged...in the past.
