College Football Predictions: 3 Home Teams in Trouble for Week Two
Week one of college football brought us a slurry of excitement and drama, but week two could bring us a bundle of upsets.
You would expect the most vulnerable teams to be taking their talents on the road. However, we will focus on five teams that should be on the lookout despite staying within their friendly confines.
Georgia vs. No. 12 South Carolina
1 of 3Georgia heads into this game with a boat load on the line after Boise State waltzed into the Georgia Dome and stole their manhood.
Thankfully they return to friendly Sanford Stadium, in hopes of turning their season around immediately with a victory over their division rival Gamecocks of South Carolina.
Don't get your hopes up, 'Dawgs. The Gamecocks will stroll into Athens and walk away without merely a scratch.
No. 24 Texas vs. Brigham Young
2 of 3Texas is coming off a solid victory over Rice in the season opener, but BYU produced a pretty impressive road win over Ole Miss as well.
It will be interesting to see if the Longhorns find themselves looking ahead to week three, where they face off against a UCLA team that thoroughly embarrassed them last season.
If they are, that could spell trouble because the Cougars are no walk in the park.
Michigan vs. Notre Dame
3 of 3Yes, Notre Dame looked awful at home in last week's defeat to South Florida.
Yes, Michigan looked pretty good against Western Michigan in week one.
But, do you really think Brian Kelly is just going to let this season go by the way side?
I don't think so and I expect Notre Dame to rebound against the Wolverines.
