Notre Dame vs. Michigan Throwback Uniforms: Check Out Both Teams' Digs
When two elite football teams that have as much history as the Michigan Wolverines and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish do, the game doesn't need an introduction or anymore hype. The matchup kind of speaks for itself.
Well, not only will the Saturday game between these two historic programs be great on the field, it will also make history.
The game will take place at 8 p.m. ET, making it the first night game ever at the Big House and the first prime-time game between these two teams since 1990. The game is being dubbed “Under the Lights at the Big House."
To add another element of excitement, both teams will take the field wearing special Adidas retro uniforms.
The outcome of the game has yet to be decided, but for now you can decide who looks better from a fashion sense.
Michigan Wolverines Uniform
1 of 2The Michigan Wolverines uniform is supposed to combine different eras of Michigan football. The first thing you notice is the quilting-stitched large "M" on the chest, with the players number on the heart to go with striped shoulder pads.
The words "132 Years of Championship Football" is stitched on the inside collar. A list of the years that Michigan won the National Championship is on the inside bottom hem of the jersey. The player's number also appears on the helmet for the first time since the late 1960s.

Notre Dame Uniform
2 of 2The Notre Dame uniform features a white jersey with Kelly green lettering, stripes on the shoulder and numbers. The Fighting Irish will go with a gold helmet, and it will have a shamrock on it for the first time since the early 1960s.
Much like the Michigan jersey, Notre Dame's jersey also lists the years the team won the national championship.
