Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Nemanja Vidic Subject of €28.2 Million Bid

Apparent Russian powerhouse Anzhi Makhachkala are once again looking to add some high-profile stars to their squad, this time going after Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.

After signing Samuel Eto'o for a staggering figure, the Russian side have some how mustered €28.2 million to launch an assault on the world class centre back. With less than 24 hours left in the transfer window, will it be bye bye Vidic?

According to Goal.com, Russian businessman Suleyman Kerimou is looking to bring about imminent success at the club, not just settling for the likes of Samuel Eto'o, Balazs Dzsudzsak and Yuri Zhirkov, all brought in just this window.

With Vidic proving to be one of United's better players, the Red Devils would be obviously reluctant to let him go. However with a €28.2 million offer on the cards, Vidic and United, like Eto'o and Inter, may just be tempted by the money on offer.

Manchester have started the 2011/2012 installment of the English Premier League in emphatic fashion, only recently disposing of Arsenal 8-2. With the younger players of United looking to be more than capable of filling the shoes of more senior players, perhaps Vidic and Ferguson will choose to part ways.

With money on their side, do not be surprised to see Anzhi Makhachkala up the anti as the deadline draws near in their attempt to secure the services of Manchester United's inspirational captain.
