Each Monday, WhatIfSports.com's NCAA college football simulation engine will provide you with game predictions for every D-1 FBS game that upcoming week. The college football simulation engine generates detailed information for each game, including each team's chances of winning (win percentage) and the average points scored for both teams. The statistical inputs to the thousands of college football simulations are based on rigorous analysis of each team's roster, depth charts and statistically-based player rankings. Roster modifications are made in cases of injury or suspension and those players are removed from their team's game simulation for that week.

Game of the Week: Boise State vs Georgia

It's Week 1 of the 2011 college football season, and ohhh, does it feel so good.

Finally, we're talking tailgating instead of investigating, beers instead of jeers and good times instead of hard times.

LSU is trying its best to ruin my party with some off-the-field allegations and arrest warrants, but the Bayou Bengals will not succeed.

Our Week 1 Game of the Week pairs everybody's favorite BCS bridesmaid, Boise State, against a Georgia squad ready to lay last season's 6-7 record to rest.

To be fair, the Bulldogs started the 2010 season behind the eight ball with A.J. Green suspended for selling his jersey, and before Mark Richt knew what hit him, his team was 1-4.

It doesn't get any easier in 2011, with Green now in the NFL and a young tandem leading the offense. Sophomore quarterback Aaron Murray will look to freshman running back Isaiah Crowell to relieve the pressure to pass to two inexperienced wide outs.

Like it has so many times, the script gets flipped when talking about the Broncos. Their experience and hyper offense make them the favorite in Week 1. Back for his eighth season (kidding, but it seems like it) is senior quarterback Kellen Moore. The guy finished fourth in the Heisman chase last season, and will no doubt lose to media darling and top NFL prospect Andrew Luck this year, but will once again vie to crash the BCS National Championship Game.

Moore has one of his favorite targets back in tight end Kyle Efaw (senior WR Tyler Shoemaker returns too) and senior running back Doug Martin at the ready when his arm needs a rest. The Broncos ranked second in the nation in scoring last season (45.1 PPG), so don't expect a low score against the Dawgs.

Coach Richt possesses a 73.8 winning percentage in a decade at Georgia. For that number to increase following their game against the Broncs, the kids will have to outplay the adults.

Using our college football simulation engine we "played" Boise State versus Georgia 101 times, and it's the Broncos coming away with the win 59.4 percent of the time by an average score of 35-30.
