Arsenal Looking at Gary Cahill, Park Chu-Young and Others to Turn Around Season

Mehdi MustunJun 2, 2018

Reports of Armand Traore having a medical at QPR are emerging only leading to speculation that Arsenal will have to replace him, with the likely candidate being Leighton Baines.

Arsenal are also reported to have doubled their bid for Gary Cahill with Arsene Wenger eager to sign the center back. Yesterday's performance again boldly highlights the urgent need of a new CB.

However, a bid does not mean we will certainly land the English defender.

Another story coming out is that Arsenal are set to sign Park Chu-Young to replace the likely departure of Nicholas Bendtner. The Monaco striker was set to join Lille; however, that move now looks to be off.

The striker is no Thierry Henry, but replacing Bendtner's boots shouldn't be too hard, should it?

With the three names on the card, we are still missing another. Arsenal are still looking to sign a center mid to replace the position of Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas. Reports coming out this morning suggest Eden Hazard will not be that man, as he clearly states he will stay with Lille.

Suggestions have been made that the man Wenger is trying to get his hands on is French midfielder Yann M'Vila. The player is a defensive midfielder, meaning, should Wenger sign him, we could see Jack Wilshere take the place Fabregas use to play.

Other French names popping up have included Marvin Martin and Yoann Gourcuff. No one knows for sure who Arsenal will get. I am guessing Wenger doesn't even know himself. Only time shall tell.

Who do you think Arsenal should sign?
