Ayr United V Raith Rovers, Somerset Park, 27 August 2011
Several images from Scottish Football League Division 1 side Ayr United's victory over Raith Rovers.
Ayr took the lead through Michael Moffat before visiting Raith had a player sent off for a dangerous challenge on Ayr captain Mark Roberts.
After defeating Raith 3-0 just two weeks ago in the cup, expectation were raised for a similar scoreline but it failed to materialise and Raith actually equalised the match much to the bewilderment of the home supporters.
Ayr United have had a never say die attitude this season though and 19 year old substitute Ross Robertson bulleted a last minute header into the goal for the win and three points for his side.
