Welcome to another live commentary blog for the big Premier League game between two sides straining at the leash for a crack at a top-four spot.

Tottenham Hotspur entertain Manchester City at White Hart Lane on Sunday, with each team looking to stamp its authority on a place at the top of the table even this early on in the season.

After Spurs saw their first game cancelled due to the trouble in London two weeks ago, last week they ran out, defeated by 3-0 against Manchester United, and this week they face the most direct rivals of the Red Devils, Manchester City.

City, for their part, have won impressively in both of their league games to date, 4-0 against Swansea City and 3-2 against Bolton Wanderers.

Plenty of new signings could be on view in this huge match, with Samir Nasri available for City after his move from Arsenal while Kun Aguero and Gael Clichy will also hope to feature.

Spurs have just signed Emmanuel Adebayor on loan from the Citizens, but he is ineligible for this match under the rules of the Premier League.
