Every NFL Fanbase's Most-Hated Player

Tony SantorsaJun 2, 2018

Each and every team's fanbase has their own nemesis—a player that continues to give your favorite trouble and gives your reasons to hate them.

Whether or not they deserve, it's certainly up for debate, but it's 100 percent clear that the player is hated.

In that spirit, here is every NFL fanbase's most hated player.

Arizona Cardinals: Derek Anderson

1 of 32

The Arizona Cardinal's biggest enemy in 2011 was their quarterback position—more specially Derek Anderson.

Anderson was completely awful for the Cards last year as he completed 51.7 percent of his passes while throwing only seven touchdowns and being intercepted 10 times.

Thankfully, Anderson is now the third-string quarterback for the Carolina Panthers—good riddance.

Atlanta Falcons: Michael Vick

2 of 32

If you're an Atlanta Falcon fan, but you still like Michael Vick, then you are not a true fan. Sorry.

Vick ultimately screwed over the entire franchise and the entire fanbase back in 2007 when he was convicted of hosting and participating in organized dogfighting.

Baltimore Ravens: Ben Roethlisberger

3 of 32

If you kept hitting and knocking around a player but he seemed to keep getting back up and ultimately beating you, wouldn't you hate him?

I know there's some hate from Ravens fans for Ben Roethlisberger. Time and time again, no matter how much the Ravens knock him around, Big Ben finds a way to beat Baltimore.

It's almost like it was meant to be.

Buffalo Bills: Tom Brady

4 of 32

Ever since Tom Brady emerged as New England's starting quarterback in 2001, he has torched the Buffalo Bills twice a year.

I almost feel bad for Bills' fans, as they have to deal with Brady marching up and down the field, tossing touchdowns left and right.

It's almost like a field day for Tommy boy when he plays Buffalo.

Carolina Panthers: Drew Brees

5 of 32

The Carolina Panthers haven't been good for a few years now, and Drew Brees has always found a way to light up their defense.

Twice a year the Panthers have to deal with Brees, wouldn't it get frustrating if you were a Panthers' fan?

Chicago Bears: Adrian Peterson

6 of 32

Let's face it, Adrian Peterson is a Chicago Bears killer.

Over the course of Peterson's career, he has almost had a field day every time he's faced the Bears.

Not only does Peterson score often, but he's a clock-killer that keeps the ball out of the Bears' fans—unless he fumbles it of course.

Cincinnati Bengals: Carson Palmer

7 of 32

Carson Palmer is now the most hated player in the Cincinnati Bengals fanbase. If you're a Bengals fan and still like Palmer, then you might as well start rooting for the Browns.

Palmer pretty much gave up on the franchise after he requested a trade out of Cinci or that he'd simply retire—it looks like he's going to have to retire.

But let's put a pause to this, if you were Palmer, wouldn't you be fed up with the Bengals' franchise? I mean, Mike Brown is the owner...

Cleveland Browns: Braylon Edwards

8 of 32

From the day that Braylon Edwards was drafted and to the day that he was traded out of Cleveland, it never seemed like he wanted to be a Cleveland Brown.

Edwards has loads of potential but never applied it when he was a Brown.

I can understand why there's so much hate towards Edwards from Browns' fans.

Dallas Cowboys: Terrell Owens

9 of 32

From stomping on the Dallas star, to absolutely dominating Dallas twice a year to being a distraction while being a member of the Cowboys—Terrell Owens was nothing but a headache for the fans of Dallas.

Denver Broncos: Jay Cutler

10 of 32

If you're a Bronco fan, how can you not hate Jay Cutler?

He asked his way out of Denver, and prior to being traded, he was a complete slouch of a passer and never lived up to his tremendous potential.

Detroit Lions: Aaron Rodgers

11 of 32

Finally, the Detroit Lions may be able to put pressure on Aaron Rodgers with Ndamukong Suh, but before Suh arrived in Detroit, Aaron Rodgers was able to torch the Lions' secondary at will.

If you had to sit and witness Rodgers put on a show twice a year, wouldn't you despise the guy too?

Green Bay Packers: Randy Moss

12 of 32

Not only was Randy Moss a dominant wide receiver against Green Bay, but he was a complete punk.

Moss will always be remembered for "mooning" the entire stadium of Lambeau Field in a 2005 NFC Wild Card game after scoring a touchdown.

Houston Texans: Peyton Manning

13 of 32

It doesn't help that Peyton Manning gets to play in a dome for his eight home games, and it certainly doesn't help that he gets to play in Houston's dome once a year—where he annually hosts a sky-show, seriously.

Peyton Manning is the ultimate Texans-killer.

Indianapolis Colts: Tom Brady

14 of 32

Whether if it's because of the debate on who's the league's best quarterback, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning—the Indianapolis Colts fanbase hates Tom Brady.

Brady and the Patriots have met the Colts several times in the playoffs throughout the recent decade, but the Colts have only walked away once being the victories.

Maybe it's just jealously, but Colts fans hate No. 12.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Peyton Manning

15 of 32

Again, Mr. Peyton Manning shows up on the list again—but this time, it's for being a dominant force against the Jacksonville Jaguars twice a year.

Sure, the Jaguars have had some solid games against Manning, but the team has never been able to surpass Manning and the Colts to win the AFC South.

Kansas City Chiefs: Philip Rivers

16 of 32

It's pretty much a given that a fanbase will hate an opposing quarterback that's in the same division that continually puts up a lot of points against you while leading his team to victory.

Sorry Philip Rivers, but there's not too much love coming from the fans of Kansas City.

Miami Dolphins: Mark Sanchez

17 of 32

How can this nothing but average quarterback find ways to beat the Miami Dolphins year in and year out?

Ever since Mark Sanchez was drafted to be the New York Jets quarterback back in 2009, he's been nothing but a winner for the hated rivals, J-E-T-S, Jets.

Minnesota Vikings: Aaron Rodgers

18 of 32

Aaron Rodgers makes the list again, but this time it's for beating up on the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings may have had an elite defense over the past few seasons, but Rodgers has always found a way to score points while leading the Packers to victory.

New England Patriots: Bart Scott

19 of 32

After Bart Scott's comments about New England not being able to "stop a nosebleed," it's a given that Patriot nation hates him.

It's like Scott is a "mini Rex Ryan."

New Orleans Saints: Reggie Bush

20 of 32

Reggie Bush was semi-productive with the New Orleans Saints, when he was healthy, but overall, he's pretty much a bust.

This offseason the Saints had a enough with the development of Bush, as they drafted Mark Ingram and shipped away Bush to the Miami Dolphins.

Bush had so much talent and potential, but never was able to apply it—wouldn't you hate him too?

New York Jets: Tom Brady

21 of 32

Rex Ryan and the entire New York Jet fanbase aren't here to kiss Tom Brady's rings, let's make that clear.

The Jets fanbase absolutely, 100 percent, hates Tom Brady.

New York Giants: DeSean Jackson

22 of 32

DeSean Jackson lights up the New York Giants year in and year out, and most recently, he had the memorable, game-winning punt return for a touchdown in 2010.

Jackson is a showboating, playmaking wide receiver, I would hate him too.

Oakland Raiders: Philip Rivers

23 of 32

Philip Rivers makes the list again for his domination of the Oakland Raiders.

For the most part, if you're a fantasy owner and you see Rivers is playing the Raiders, then your eyes or lighting up—he's a Raiders-killer.

Philadelphia Eagles: Terrell Owens

24 of 32

Terrell Owens' first year in Philadelphia was a success, but his second year was nothing but a headache.

T.O. found a way to clash with head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Donovan McNabb.

Can you see why so many Philly fans can't stand Terrell Owens?

Pittsburgh Steelers: Tom Brady

25 of 32

Tom Brady has more rings than Ben Roethlisberger; it's a fact, and it's a part of the reason why the Steelers fanbase hates him.

Several times in the postseason, Brady has been the reason why the Steelers lost—he's undefeated against Pittsburgh all time in the playoffs.

San Diego Chargers: Shawne Merriman

26 of 32

Shawne Merriman's success in San Diego was due to being juiced—the steroids.

If I found out that one of my favorite players was cheating, I'd definitely hate him.

Merriman screwed over the Chargers, as he was almost ineffective after being suspended for testing positive for HGH.

San Francisco 49ers: Larry Fitzgerald

27 of 32

When Larry Fitzgerald lines up against the San Francisco 49ers, it's a known fact that he's going to have around five receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown or two.

I would hate having to deal with Fitz twice a year, I can understand why 49er fans despise him.

Seattle Seahawks: Frank Gore

28 of 32

I'm going to take a wild guess that Frank Gore loves playing against the Seattle Seahawks as he runs up and the down field twice a year against them.

In fact, back in 2010, Gore ran for a spectacular 207 yards while scoring two touchdowns—Seahawks fans were furious, but I was ecstatic as I had him on my fantasy team that year.

St. Louis Rams: Larry Fitzgerald

29 of 32

Again, Larry Fitzgerald shows up the list again—maybe it's because of pure jealously, as the St. Louis Rams haven't had a wide receiver like Fitzgerald ever since they were known as the "greatest show on turf."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Matt Ryan

30 of 32

Matt Ryan is a career 5-1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and usually finds a way to toss one or two touchdowns against them.

Bucs fans may hate Ryan for a while, as it's going to be quite the battle between young quarterbacks, Josh Freeman and Matt Ryan.

Tennessee Titans: Vince Young

31 of 32

Vince Young may have been a winner in Tennessee, but he wasn't that productive of a player. In my opinion, he's a definite bust.

Young simply did not work out as a Titan, despite being the team's first-round choice in 2006.

Now V.Y. is the backup behind Michael Vick in Philadelphia.

Washington Redskins: Albert Haynesworth

32 of 32

If you were a Washington Redskins fan, how could you not hate Albert Haynesworth? What did he do for you, besides eat up a $100 million contract?

I am sure that 'Skins fans are relieved that he was shipped away to New England, but when the Patriots make a trip down to the national's capital this year, I'm sure that Haynesworth is going to hear it.
