Liverpool FC: What Are the Chances of Keeping Star Forward Luis Suarez?

Kenny Dalglish has breathed change into a Liverpool squad that was in dire need of it. A spending total of over 120 million pounds has done the trick, and while Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam, Andy Carroll and Jordan Henderson have all made an impact, Luis Suarez has outstripped them all with ease.

No matter how well other Liverpool players have played, they have all had to sit for second place in the praise order. How many times have you heard or read, "But the star man was Luis Suarez once again," or "Another brilliant showing from Luis Suarez?"

I'm going to answer that for you. The answer is: every time Liverpool have played since the Reds entertained stoke in February.

With great performances comes great interest. It's just a fact. Suarez will be subject to bids from Inter Barcelona and Real Madrid. He will be accused of handing in transfer requests when he hasn't.

So Liverpool must do their utmost to keep their best player at the club. Signing another South American would help, so Sebastian Coates is a perfect signing. He will keep Suarez company and hopefully help him through any negotiations concerning a Liverpool stay.

Another way is simple: Do well on the pitch. A player won't want to leave if their present club is moving in the right direction. Liverpool are. It's just a question of continuing to do so. If Kenny keeps moving the team on, Suarez stays.

The last, and by far the most important, way is also straight forward. It concerns everyone of you who read this: If you support Luis through every obstacle and give him support, he will remain loyal.

Judging by personality, Suarez is a loyal type. It will take a lot to make him leave, but to stay safe:

Liverpool must continue to do well on the pitch.

Suarez must be kept happy.

You must support him.
