Harry Redknapp Confirms Tottenham Want to Sign Emmanuel Adebayor
With Tottenham seemingly wanting to sell a majority of their strikers, one would wonder why they haven't yet made a move to sign any replacements yet.
However, it would seem that just this week, that may have all changed with Tottenham in the market for Manchester City outcast Emmanuel Adebayor.
According to Goal.com, Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Tottenham are in the hunt to secure the services of the Togolese player. Although the signing is not believed to be permanent signing, they will have the option to secure Adebayor at the conclusion of the loan deal if he impresses at White Hart lane.

When asked about the possible signing of Emmanuel Adebayor at the club, Redknapp responded with, “The chairman is talking to Manchester City about the player...Where the negotiations are at, I genuinely don’t know.”
During his time at Manchester City, Adebayor has failed to secure regular playing time, especially after arguments with Roberto Mancini. He did enjoy a successful loan spell at Real Madrid, and although he impressed, he was not able to secure a permanent deal.
Adebayor will hope he can contract at somewhere other than Manchester City because, as things stand, he will not get a look in, even on the bench.
