Overview: The 2011 Spanish Super Cup will be decided in this game after these two heavyweights battled to a 2-2 draw on Sunday.

While that game was a draw, Real Madrid was clearly the superior team. Their pin-point passing led to them controlling the majority of possession. You don't have to take my word for this. Here is Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola as quoted on ibtimes.com:

"

"In the first leg, Madrid (was) better, in these three days we have improved some things, but I believe they are still better. That is the feeling I have, but every match is a story.

"If the return leg were in two weeks, it would be different. We will have to play better than we did at the Santiago Bernabeu to win the Supercopa.

"We will have to play with the kind of speed we could not put in our game the other day. Three days have passed, we have trained really well."

"

Real Madrid's 4-2-3-1 led to great penetration by Karim Benzema and some great chances for Ronaldo. Barcelona stayed in this match with great play in goal from Victor Valdes and the spectacular play of Lionel Messi.

Real Madrid had an aggressive offseason as they made dramatic improvements by adding Cesc Fabregas and Alexis Sanchez.

They clearly showed in the first leg of the Spanish Cup that they will at least be contending with Barcelona. Now it is up to them to show they can beat them.

What's Worth Watching: Real Madrid's Pepe and possible retaliation

Ask a Barcelona fan about Pepe and you are likely to hear a tirade centered on the fact that Pepe is a dirty player. Many people outside of Real Madrid feel that Pepe has gone out of his way to inflict harm on Barcelona's players.

At some point, I expect some retribution to be levied.

Something to Keep in Mind: If this match is tied after 90 minutes—a very good possibility—it will be decided by the away goals rule. Simple enough, the team that scored more goals as the away team will win.

Barcelona was the away team in the first game and netted two scores. That puts extra premium on scoring for Real Madrid in this one. If this match ends in a 2-2 draw, it will go to a penalty kick shootout.

Biggest Storyline: Former Arsenal standout, Cesc Fabregas, is going to be a match-time decision for Barcelona. He worked out on Wednesday and was reported to be match fit.

I expect he will get some run in this one and make his highly anticipated Barcelona debut.

Starting 11: Neither squad has announced their starting lineup. In fact, they have gone out of their way to keep it a secret and they are trying to keep each other guessing while gaining a tactical advantage.

The biggest question mark here will be Cesc Fabregas. Will he make his Barcelona debut Wednesday?

Prediction: Real Madrid looked crisper and further along than Barcelona in the opener. They are going to be bound and determined to prove that they have everything they need to take down Barcelona this year.

I expect another great game, but I don't think Victory Valdes will be able to save Barcelona this time.

Real Madrid wins, 3-2.
