Aston Villa and Fulham are set to kickoff their English Premier League season off against each other on Saturday. Both teams finished in the top 10 in the EPL last year and will be looking to improve on that finish this year. Fulham finished the 2010-2011 season with 49, while Aston Villa finished with 48 points.

Bobby Zamora will be returning to the starting 11 for Fulham who was without him for five months last year due to a broken leg. He will be one of the focal points of the Fulham attack and the point man who will be used to distribute the ball to players like Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele.

On the other hand, Aston Villa is looking to revamp their roster as they lost key midfielders Ashley Young and Stewart Downing this summer.

Fulham's Key Addition:
John Arne Riise

John Arne Riise will likely be the only new addition to the starting 11 from last season when Fulham take the field Saturday. His younger brother Bjorn Helge will miss the match with a hamstring injury. Riise brings an attacking style from his left back position and should do a lot to help boost the attack for Fulham.

He has recorded 37 career goals in his club carer and has also recorded 14 goals in the past 11 years for the Norwegian national team.

Fulham's Biggest Loss:
Zoltan Gera

When a player who plays in just 10 games is your biggest loss of the offseason that is pretty successful. Gera contributed just one goal and one assist from his attacking midfielder position, but he will not be greatly missed.

Aston Villa Key Addition:
Charles N’Zogbia

N'Zgobia is an extremely talented 25-year-old attacking midfielder who should easily fill the void left by Ashley Young in the midfield.

N'Zogbia was instrumental in preventing Wigan from being relegated last season and should perform better this year as he is surrounded by a lot more talent than he was last year.

Aston Villa's Biggest Loss:
Ashley Young and Stewart Downing

Losing two players of this caliber is very disappointing for Villa. Young and Downing started more games than any other field player on the roster. Downing started 38 games and recorded seven goals and seven assists, while Young started 34 games and recorded seven goals and 10 assists.

Losing 31 total points is going to be tough for Villa to recover from but adding N'Zogbia is certainly a step in the right direction.

What's Worth Watching:
Aston Villa Midfielders

Aston Villa was forced to revamp their midfield after losing Downing and Young and will hope that N'Zogbia and Czech midfielder Marcel Gecov can help the team to another successful run in the EPL.

It will be interesting to see the chemistry between the midfielders in their first match together.

Biggest Storyline:
Alex McLeish

Alex McLeish is set to take over Aston Villa after his former team, Birmingham, was relegated following the 2010 season. He was not a popular hire at all and if Villa starts off on the wrong foot against Fulham the fans will continue crying foul.

Projected Starting 11:

Here are the projected starting lineups according to The Telegraph:

Fulham (4-4-2): Schwarzer, Hughes, Senderos, Hangeland, J Riise, Duff, Murphy, Etuhu, Dempsey, Johnson, Zamora

Aston Villa (4-4-2): Given, Warnock, Collins, Dunne, Young, N'Zogbia, Petrov, Makoun, Heskey, Bent, Agbonlahor
