Arun MJun 7, 2018

Chelsea scouting chief Michael Emenalo is closely monitoring the progress of Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom.

Right back Samuel Inkoom is in the Ghana side to face Nigeria at Watford's Vicarage Road, and the Daily Mirror claims Emenalo is a big fan of the player.

The newspaper reports that Ukrainian outfit Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk have made the 22-year-old available for transfer for around £4million to £6million.

Inkoom is a new arrival at Dnipro, following his move from Swiss Super League side FC Basel in January of this year.

Fulham and Aston Villa have been mentioned as other potential destinations for the talented right back.

Emenalo, now technical director at Chelsea after being promoted from a coaching role this summer, is known to be a big fan of Samuel Inkoom.

Meanwhile, the Blues are set to announce the capture of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku after a fee with Anderlecht had been agreed.

The 18-year-old has undergone a medical at the Blues training ground in Cobham after Anderlecht accepted a fee, thought to be between £15million and £20million, for their striker.
