World Football Hidden Talents: 5 Stars of the Future You May Not Have Heard of

Amogha SahuJun 1, 2018

These players have not been glorified by the media as much as the likes of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain or Jack Wilshere, but they are worth watching out for.

Some of them have recently broken into the professional football scene, but most of them are at academy level and look to nail down a first team spot on their respective clubs.

From Andy King to Alvaro Morata, these will be stars of the future. You heard it here first!

Andy King

1 of 5

The Leicester dynamo is only 22, but was the shining light for his team last year. He was included in the PFA Championship team of the year 2010-11 and is Leicester City's captain and Talisman.

He is already a full-fledged Wales international, starting nine games for Wales and scoring once. Even though he is a midfielder, he has been Leicester's top scorer in the 2010-11 Championship season, scoring 15 league goals (which is a good total for a striker!).

Barry Bannan

2 of 5

Bannan is another full-fledged international who has turned out for Scotland's senior team. He is a midfielder who can pass, but is typically suited for the holding role.

He is tenacious and tough in the tackle as well as blessed with great control. He has a good, but not great, passing range and his long-range passes are improving, though his technique is unremarkable.

He had an impressive season with Championship side Leeds United and he looks to have a bright future at Aston Villa.

Marco Fabian

3 of 5

Fabian burst onto the scene for Chivas Guadalajara and revealed himself to the world when he scored two overhead kicks in Chivas' unlikely 4-1 win against European champions Barcelona.

Fabian is renowned for his great skill and technique, which gives him the No. 8 at his club. He is prolific, for a midfielder, scoring 19 in 95 for his club and once in three games for his country.

Thomas Ince

4 of 5

Thomas Ince, it seems, will forever stand in the shadow of great father Paul. The elder was an established England international with 609 career appearances and 72 career goals, as well as 50-odd caps for his country.

However, the younger Ince seems to have made a name for himself on the left side of midfield with his tricks, flair and shooting attributes.

He is also quite pacy, with acceleration being his forte. He has recently left Liverpool to join Blackpool on a transfer.

Alvaro Morata

5 of 5

Morata is a Real Madrid youngster who recently was top scorer at the UEFA Under-19 Championships not so long ago, scoring six.

He is a player in the Thierry Henry mould, using pace as well as flair to run at defenses and create chances.
