Another Four Years at the Villa for Ashley Young
After ongoing negotiations, Aston Villa and England U-21 international Ashley Young has finally signed a new contract, committing his future to the Midlands club for another four years.
The winger, who joined the club back in January 2007 in a £9.5million deal from Watford, has finally ended the intense speculation regarding his long term future, and is now under contract at Villa until 2012.
It's a good move for Villa, as Young has been a key part of the team and their success both last season and this season.

The winger has 14 goals in 61 appearances so far for Villa, and already this season has scored some magnificent goals in some fantastic performances.
And it was such performances that won him the EPL's Player of the Month award for September, as well as strong interest from Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
But now Martin O'Neill and the Aston Villa team have been given a confidence boost ahead of their UEFA Cup game against Slavia Prague, as Young has put an end to interest from the top four and it seems he will remain a Villa player for quite a few years to come.
A good move by Villa; one that means they will continue to benefit from his electrifying pace, stunning free-kick goals, and ability to provide a countless amount of perfect crosses into the box. It's also good news for Agbonlahor, Carew and co, as it means they will continue to be set up by Young for simple tap-ins.
A good move for the player himself also, as it means he will continue to play regularly (although I doubt he would have that trouble anyway at a top four club), and therefore continue to be able to easily top the assists charts, and showcase that electrifying pace and wonderful array of skills.
Good for Villa, good for Young, and hopefully if Fabio Capello finally gets some common sense, good for England also.
