5 Manchester United Players Who Will Benefit from Wesley Sneijder Transfer

Joe TanseyJun 7, 2018

With all the speculation that Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder will join Manchester United from Inter Milan, it would make Sneijder the fourth signing of the summer by Sir Alex Ferguson.

There are many players in the United squad who will benefit from the transfer if it happens, but there are a specific five players that the transfer will impact the most.

Ryan Giggs

1 of 5

Giggs is now the veteran of the squad, and in past years, has moved from the wing into the center of midfield.

With his long-time partner in crime, Paul Scholes, now retired, the midfield magic of Sneijder could take pressure off Giggs and give him more of a chance to be creative in midfield.

Ashley Young

2 of 5

One of the new signings at Old Trafford, Young will be playing out on the wing and with a midfield maestro like Sneijder, it will give the young Englishman more chances to make runs down the wing in attack.

With Young's ability to get down the wing and Sneijder's great passing ability, it could be a match made in midfield heaven.

Anderson

3 of 5

The young Brazilian has not seen much playing time at Old Trafford, and he may not see that much this season, but he could learn alot from Sneijder.

If Anderson wants to become one of the next stars at the Theater of Dreams, a year or two behind Sneijder and Ryan Giggs, learning from an old school and a new school player could play to his advantage.

Wayne Rooney

4 of 5

An obvious choice for this list is the top forward at Old Trafford.

Rooney would love to have a world class midfielder like Sneijder to feed him passes to lead to some of Rooney's many goals to come in the upcoming season.

Javier Hernandez

5 of 5

Chicharito is also an obvious choice for this list, but he may benefit a bit more than Rooney because of his speed.

The young Mexican has been one of the most entertaining young players in the Premier League, and with Sneijder feeding him passes from midfield, it will benefit the speedy forward more than Rooney.
