The 11 Best 11s of College Football, Week 11: No Change in Top Two
As the college football season enters the cold weather month of November, observers were treated to several fantastic finishes on Saturday.
In Minneapolis, a game of the year for excitement was played between Minnesota and Northwestern, with a stunning end of the game win for the Wildcats.
South Bend, Indiana was home to a thrilling four-overtime classic between the Fighting Irish and the Pittsburgh Panthers. Across the state, the Purdue Boilermakers went to the end of regulation in overcoming the Michigan Wolverines.
In Lubbock, Texas, the 1971 song concerning the city's most famous native comes to mind when reviewing how Texas extended the powerful Red Raiders before becoming another victim of undefeated Texas Tech this season: "I can't remember if I cried, when I heard about his widowed bride, but something touched me deep inside, the day the music died...well bye, bye, Miss American Pie."

No. 7 Texas Tech beat No. 3 Texas, so they switched places. Incredibly impressive Florida moved up from No. 5 to No. 4, while Southern California's destruction of Washington allowed them to move up to No. 5 from No. 6 and round out the Top Five teams.
Undefeated Boise State heads up the second group, coming in at No. 6. Texas falls to No. 7, while Oklahoma, looking more and more the likely second BCS team from the Big 12, holds on to the No. 8 position from the prior week.
Up and coming Oklahoma State crashes the party at No. 9, and Ohio State moves from 11 to 10. Undefeated Utah drops from No. 10 to No. 11 after a less than impressive showing versus the unpredictable Lobos of New Mexico.
