NBA: 5 Most Clutch Players of All Time
There are some players that rise to the occasion when the game is on the line. These players are known as "clutch."
They have a natural instinct to take the last shot. They know that their team will win or lose on his shoulders.
The relish the chance to be the one to have the ball when down. When in the final time-out they say, "Just get me the ball."
They are the most dependable players in the league. They are assassins on the basketball court and draw fear into the opponent's eyes.
5. Reggie Miller
1 of 5Unless you were a Pacers fan, you hated his guts.
But one has to admit that when his team needed a big shot or a last-second three-pointer, Miller came on the court and shot with confidence to help win many games for the Indiana Pacers.
4. Robert Horry
2 of 5The man has seven rings for goodness sake.
He slacked off during the regular season, but if his team(he played for quite a few) were down by two, you knew that somehow the ball would get in Horry's hands.
Maybe this is why they call him "Big Shot Rob."
3. Kobe Bryant
3 of 5"The Black Mamba" has hit quite a few game-winning shots in his day, and is always the one to get the ball whether he's open or not.
With the amount of crucial situations he's been in, it's natural that he make some mistakes. But I have never seen a player more determined and unphased when the Los Angeles Lakers need a signature Kobe-style buzzer-beater.
1. Michael Jordan
5 of 5Michael is the greatest player to ever play in the entire history of the NBA. "His Airness" brought in six titles to the Chicago Bulls.
This guy never seemed to have an off-night during an important playoff game. Defenders were forced to stare in awe as Jordan pulled up for a game-winning shot(just ask Byron Russel or Craig Ehlo).
