Oregon Football: Power Ranking the Ducks 2010 Conference Uniform Choices

Joe PenkalaJun 23, 2011

Most known for their ever changing uniforms and the insane amount of combinations they can roll out, the Ducks put a lot of different looks together in 2010.

During the Pac-10 schedule, Oregon was able to roll out an impressive number of helmets, jerseys and pants. The combinations ranged from all black to all white and everything in between.

Enjoy this power ranking of the best looking combination from their conference schedule, but don't get used to them; it's about time for another change.

No. 9: Arizona State

1 of 9

During an early season 42-31 victory by Oregon, the Ducks brought out a very simple look, going with the green helmet, white jersey and green pants.

The combination helped the Ducks in the desert as they flew to the ball, causing turnovers all night long.

No. 8: Arizona

2 of 9

With a chance to clinch the Pac-10 for the second straight year, Oregon took on Arizona and broke out a new combination.

The Ducks wore their traditional green helmet and jersey and brought out their carbon pants. The combination worked, as the Ducks won 48-29.

No. 7: Cal

3 of 9

While the combination looks very clean, the Ducks may want to scrap it. In their closest game of the regular season, the Ducks made a small variation on their combination in Arizona by going with the white helmet.

The uniforms were put on the back burner in this game as the Ducks squeaked out a 15-13 victory.

No. 6: Washington State

Ducks fans were happy to see that they passed on wearing the green helmet with this combination, as it often brings back memories of Dennis Dixon going to the turf in Arizona.

Oregon went black-white-black and beat Washington State 43-23.

No. 5: UCLA

5 of 9

On Thursday night, Oregon welcomed in UCLA, and the only way their jerseys could have popped out more was if you were watching the game in 3D.

The combination of black helmet, yellow jersey and black pants was worn in 2009 and last year, and both led to huge victories. Oregon won 60-13.

No. 4: Stanford

6 of 9

Perhaps the cost classic and true to form look the Ducks wore last year was against Stanford. The Ducks came out in all green and grabbed control of the Pac-10 with a 52-31 win.

No. 3: Oregon State

7 of 9

Oregon wore bits and piece of this combination throughout the year and put them all together for the 2010 Civil War.

When the Ducks and Beavers went at it at the end of the year, the Ducks went with the carbon helmets, white jerseys and carbon pants for a solid look. It paid off with a 37-20 victory and punched their ticket to the National Championship.

No. 2: Washington

8 of 9

Almost the best look for the Ducks was the all black uniform they wore against the Washington Huskies. Oregon has worn them before for great success and wanted to give them a shot against one of their rivals.

Oregon rolled over the Dawgs and sent them out of Autzen with loss, beating them 53-16.

No. 1: USC

9 of 9

Mostly referred to as the "storm trooper" uniforms, Oregon broke out their all white combination when they headed on the road to play USC.

Oregon first debuted this uniform in 2007 against Washington, and it worked just as well in 2010, as the Ducks beat the Trojans 53-32.

Despite not being one of Oregon's traditional looks, it ended up being the best look of the 2010 season.
