Mario Balotelli: Top 10 Craziest Stunts Manchester City Star Pulled This Season

Mario Balotelli has to be the biggest character of a footballer in years to play in the Premier League.

It baffles the normal person's mind what the Manchester City forward does for fun and his actions in everyday life.

The Italian was known for his antics in Italy, but until he entered into the Premier League this season, fans in England had no clue what craziness would ensue when Balotelli was on and off the pitch.

In an interview after the FA Cup, Balotelli stated in an interview that his season was s**t because of his lack of time in the first team as he scored only 10 goals this season for Manchester City.

This answer was surprising because the interview happened right after City won the FA Cup, in which Balotelli played a major part in playing all 90 minutes.

In late March, Mario was bored one day and decided to start throwing darts at members of the youth team.

The Italian claimed he just did because he was bored and had nothing else better to do, so he started throwing the darts from a first floor window.

No youth team members were harmed in the shenanigans.

Balotelli was subbed off in the 57th minute of a Europa League game with Dynamo Kiev on March 11th because his face began to swell up.

According to manager Roberto Mancini, the allergy started up right before the second half started and got bad enough that Balotelli had to leave the match which Manchester City eventually lost.

One of the quotes of the season was produced by the Italian when he crashed his Audi on September 5th.

While police were checking for any drugs or alcohol in possession of the forward, the police discovered £5,000 in his back pocket.

When police asked Mario why he has carrying around so much cash, he replied, "Because I am rich."

In an interview in December, Balotelli was asked about Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and answered by saying that he does not who Wilshere is.

Going further in the interview, Balotelli continued to say, "No, I don't know him, but next time I play Arsenal, I will keep a close eye on him," and "Perhaps I can show him my Golden Boy trophy and remind him that I won it."

As you can tell, Balotelli is not very modest when he opens his mouth.

Continuing on that point of being far from modest, Balotelli also stated that Barcelona and Argentina star Lionel Messi was the only player in the world better than him.

This was right after Balotelli won the Golden Boy trophy and in the same interview in which he claimed he did not know who Jack Wilshere was.

Call it a random act of kindness or just another regular Mario Balotelli act, but no matter what, the Italian had an extra thousand pounds coming out of a casino after winning £25,000 pounds in one night.

And since he is one of the highest paid players in Europe, Balotelli has an extra thousand pounds or so to give away every once and awhile, and this lucky homeless person just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

After Manchester City took down cross town rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup semifinals, Balotelli decided to celebrate in front of the United stand and in turn ticking off both Rio Ferdinand and Anderson.

After a few choice words with the United players, calmer heads prevailed on City's way to the FA Cup title.
