Arsenal FC Transfers: Manchester United Set to Sign Samir Nasri?

According to a report published today, Manchester United are in talks with agents to sign Arsenal's talisman Samir Nasri.l 

The 23-year-old was signed from Marseille in 2008 and has been instrumental in Arsenal's campaign over the years and has now entered the final year of his contract. 

Italian giants Inter Milan and AC Milan have both shown interest in the Frenchman earlier with Barcelona and Real Madrid also thought to be keen admirers. 

Should Nasri plan to leave, Arsene Wenger would be better off selling him to the Italian or Spanish clubs rather than to a direct competitor in the Premier League.

Nasri has only 12 months left on his current deal and has voiced his concerns about Arsenal's squad for next season, also demanding wages in parity with captain Cesc Fabregas. 

Arsenal would like to get the deal sorted either way before their Champions League qualifiers gets underway.

However, it seems unlikely that Arsene Wenger would let both Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri leave this season.
