College Football: The Top 10 Offenses Entering the 2011 Season
Oregon lit up scoreboards and amassed thousand of yards in 2010. Could the Ducks still be the best high-octane offense this season or will another team have the most effective unit in 2011?
If any of these 10 teams are on the schedule, your favorite team's coordinator will likely have a few sleepless nights during the week before the game or might just end up trashing the defensive game plan after halftime this season.

Arkansas Razorbacks
1 of 10
2010 Rank: Ninth (482 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Five
Ryan Mallet is sitting in New England waiting for the NFL lockout to be resolved, but the Razorbacks have a more than capable replacement as junior Tyler Wilson showed flashes of big play ability in 2010 against the Auburn Tigers in late October.
Baylor Bears
2 of 10
2010 Rank: Thirteenth (475 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Eight
Baylor has certainly made leaps from being the door mat to a threat in the new Big 12. The Bears will likely lean on the playmaking ability of Robert Griffin—who was sidelined with an injured right knee in 2010—if they want to make an even bigger splash in the league this season.
Boise State Broncos
3 of 10
2010 Rank: Second (521 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Seven
While the loss of receivers Titus Young and Austin Pettis will be an obstacle to overcome, senior quarterback Kellen Moore will still have plenty of weapons on offense to help the Broncos continue their quest for a berth in the BCS title game.
Hawaii Warriors
4 of 10
2010 Rank: Sixth (501 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Three
With BCS buster Boise State off to the Mountain West Conference, the WAC conference title should be a very easy path to navigate for Hawaii this season. The program always seems to have an explosive offense. This year's unit will be guided by quarterback Bryant Moniz.
Michigan Wolverines
5 of 10
2010 Rank: Eighth (485 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Nine
With Brady Hoke coming from San Diego State to coach the Maize and Blue in 2011, the Wolverines should have no concerns whatsoever this season on the offensive side of the ball. Heisman contender Denard Robinson leads an offense that returns nine of 11 after leading the Big Ten in total offense a year ago.
Oklahoma Sooners
6 of 10
2010 Rank: 10th (481 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Eight
As the resounding preseason favorite across the nation, Landry Jones and the Oklahoma Sooners will have one of the most loaded offenses in the Bob Stoops era. The team returns all but one on the offensive line, as well as playmaking receiver Ryan Broyles, who grabbed 14 touchdowns in 2010.
Oklahoma State Cowboys
7 of 10
2010 Rank: Third (520 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: 10
Last year's second ranked passing attack returns 10 starters, including QB Brandon Weeden and WR Justin Blackmon, both Heisman hopefuls. This potent spread-offense should continue to terrorize opposing defenses, and they'll have to if they want to win, considering their shaky defensive unit.
Stanford Cardinal
8 of 10
2010 Rank: Fourteenth (472 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Four
Andrew Luck is probably happy he didn't make the jump to the NFL this off-season, but with his former coach Jim Harbaugh off to the pros, the senior quarterback will rely on previous offensive coordinator David Shaw to continue the success of Harbaugh as he takes over the reigns as head coach for the Cardinal.
Tulsa Golden Hurricane
9 of 10
2010 Rank: Fifth (506 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Eight
The Golden Hurricanes will have a one-man wrecking ball in Tulsa this season as senior quarterback G.J. Kinne will lead the No. 1 offense in C-USA coming off a nearly 40 touchdown year in 2010.
West Virginia Mountaineers
10 of 10
2010 Rank: 67th (373 Yards/Game)
Returning Offensive Starters: Seven
Even though the Dana Holgorsen-Bill Stewart saga still continues to rage this offseason, the Mountaineers will have one of the best chances since the Rich Rodriguez era to make a splash in the national title chase. Geno Smith and Tavon Austin will likely become household names this coming season.
