Cristiano Ronaldo Will Remain in Real Madrid for the 2011-2012 La Liga Season

According to Insidefutbol.com, Cristiano Ronaldo has announced his intentions to remain with Real Madrid for the next 2011-2012 La Liga season. The declaration by the Real Madrid star squashed speculation of a possible move to Manchester City during the summer.

Ronaldo stated that he was happy to remain with Real Madrid. He also expressed a desire to win trophies for the club in the future.

The task that will be awaiting Cristiano Ronaldo is not going to be easy. The team has to rethink its strategies after its defeat in the UEFA Champions League by FC Barcelona.

Jose Mourinho appears to have Cristiano Ronaldo as part of his plans for the next La Liga and UEFA Champions League season. Ronaldo is thinking in the short term at the present time.
