It has recently been confirmed by goal.com that Bayern Munich has signed goalkeeper Manuel Neuer for 18 million euros. The German's move from Schalke 04 to Bayern Munich has been anticipated for over a month now, and his signing means that the goalkeeper's other suitors like Arsenal and Manchester United could have to make a change in plans. It shouldn't be too much of a worry for the two English clubs, however, as United looks like they will sign David de Gea, and Arsenal are content with young Wojciech Szczesny.

Neuer will officially join Bayern Munich on July 1st, and his contract there will end in June 2016. Some of the things he's said regarding the transfer are, "I am really looking forward to this huge and exciting challenge at Bayern. Many of my international teammates will be my teammates in Munich. Therefore I won't be going into a new environment and will certainly settle in quickly."

Manuel Neuer's transfer to Bayern Munich was one of the biggest rumors circulating the football world, so the fact that this transfer materialized is a promising start to what should be an exciting summer.
