Manchester City seems prepared to unleash almost 200 million euros to sign Cristiano Ronaldo away from the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo is one of the top players on the pitch today (maybe the top one), and already one of historical proportions. Man City's possible offer begs an obvious question:

Is he a football-playing model, or a footballer that looks like a model?

It's up to you to say which one, but what he definitely has is that "look my way" spirit. He dives, he argues, he screams, he acts for the camera. Me, me, me, me. 

Off the pitch, Cristiano definitely loves Cristiano. And on the pitch the same happens. 

Defending? Nah. Passing? Nah. Shooting on goal? Hell yeah!

Saying he's not much of a team player is being very permissive with his attitude. For him it's Cristiano time. All the time. 

2. They Have the Talent To Replace Him

We'll all agree Özil is good, but I think he's on his way to being great. Ballon D'Or great. 

When Ronaldo likes to shoot, Özil passes. 

Ronaldo is a stat beast. He scores so many goals right?

Well, Özil is a stat beast in his own right. He has 84 assists and is 23 years old (with 29 goals to boot). Those are stupidly good numbers.

Go and check Zidane's numbers. He´s nowhere near those numbers. In his career.

You could buy a whole team of world-class stars for 200 million euros.

Imagine this Real Madrid: Casillas/Maicon (30m), Carvalho, Pepe, Bale (50m)/Alonso, Essien (30m), Sahin/Özil, Agüero (50m), Tévez (40m).

I spent exactly 200 million euros on that team. It also has Khedira, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Kaká, Higuaín and Benzema on the bench.
