Del Neri to Leave Juventus and Conte to Coach Next Season
Del Neri Sacked
Del Neri has announced that he will leave the club after meeting with club officials, according to UEFA.com.
After arriving in Turin to lead Juventus last summer, Del Neri failed to improve the side and has been asked to pack his bags after the final match day of Serie A.

Under Del Neri, Juventus started the season in good shape and before January, they seemed to be on the way to secure a Champions League spot and even compete for the title. After the turn of the year though, Juventus went on a bad run, which saw them lose eight times and draw five times. That cost them Champions League and probably a place in Europa League.
Juventus have to win their last game against third place Napoli, and hope that Roma loses to already relegated Sampdoria, so they can qualify for the Europa League.
The performances this season have been subpar and this has caused speculations over the future of some players and Del Neri for sometime.
Conte to Lead
There are several names being linked to the job including Louis Van Gaal, Andre Villas-Boas and Walter Mazzarri, however, Antonio Conte is said to be the leading candidate. The former Juventus midfielder, who has just led Siena back to Serie A, was a candidate for the job after Claudio Ranieri left the club in 2009, but Ciro Ferrara was chosen over him.
Conte likes to play with a 4-4-2 formation with wingers pushing high up, and the center midfielders staying put—a formation that when in need turns into a complete 4-2-4. Conte plays a good attacking football with a solid defence, and likes his team to keep possession of the ball.
A very weak "Juventus" spirit has been visible in the squad this season, and Conte seems to be just the man Juventus needs. He was known for his leading qualities as a player and will remind the players what it means to wear the black and white jersey.
With Andrea Pirlo and Michel Bastos probably arriving in the coming days, it seems like Conte's team is already being built for him.
Best of luck for Juventus!
