College Football 2011: Alabama Left Tackle Prospect Aaron Douglas Found Dead
It was supposed to be a few days of fun with a friend in a town near Fernandina Beach, just North of Jacksonville, Florida, but it has turned to tragedy when Alabama left tackle prospect Aaron Douglas was found dead.
Details of the death are the subject of much rumor at this point and the actual cause of death has not been determined by doctors.
He had gone to the beach with a friend and was hoping to have some fun, but now the family is making preparations to have to body moved back to his home.
Douglas had been a Freshman All American at tackle at Tennessee before getting upset with that program and left for one year at a Junior College before coming to Alabama. He had some foot surgery after coming to Tuscaloosa and was all set to compete for a starting job at left tackle with the Tide this fall.
Now this death only adds to the sadness in Tuscaloosa that followed the killer tornadoes. Bleacher Report and all the members of the Alabama Nation send their hear felt condolences and prayers to the Douglas family.
