Dwyane Wade Video: Watch Miami Heat Star School Boston Celtics in Game 2
Dwyane Wade has the nickname "Flash" for good reason.
Despite numerous knee and leg injuries over the years, Wade surprisingly still has that explosiveness and insane athleticism that got him a championship ring.
So many players in the NBA are robbed of their biggest weapon after suffering major injuries; Grant Hill, Tracy McGrady, Kenyon Martin and Yao Ming are just a few recent examples.
Yet, Wade looks as strong and fast as ever.
The latest proof was Tuesday night in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semi's against the Boston Celtics in a pair of nasty moves.
First up, in the second quarter he was in the open floor with Kevin Garnett in front of him. Wade fakes to the right and ends up going to the left for the easy score.
Why was it so easy? Because Garnett had been completely faked-out by Wade.
Garnett shifted his body to the right and fell for the move like he has in the schoolyard. He had the "where'd he go" look on his face as he watched Wade score with ease.
Then with Ray Allen closing in on Wade, the nastiest crossover of the postseason ensues and Ray Allen ends up falling down!
The slight hesitation with the ankle breaking crossover is a thing of beauty and just another reminder that facing "Flash" in the open court with one man to beat is not going to end well.
Embarrassing two legends in one quarter?
Not too shabby for a rejuvenated and healthy D-Wade.
