College Football 2011: Spring Tweeting, the Preseason Top 25 in 140 Characters

Carl StineJun 3, 2018

What better way to summarize spring practices than with a "tweet."

Catching up with Notre Dame, Oregon and Ohio State football in 140 characters or less is a tall task, but it can be done.

It's too bad Penn State is not in the top 25; there is potential for some interesting JoePa tweets there.

Want to hear the short version of every top 25 team's spring practice?

But before you start, take a look at this gem offered up by ESPN analyst Dave Telep:

"I think Ohio State should have made Jim Tressel get $250K worth of tattoos from that parlor. That'll teach the coaches going forward."

QB Osweiler has potential. Offense scrimmaged well. Injury Bolden hurts, but LB Vontaze Burfict has stepped up.  Burfict is a scary, crazy man.

23. Auburn Tigers

3 of 25

Moseley and Trotter still locked up tight in competition. No Newton, no Fairley, big problems.

RB position a conglomerate of talent, no clear front-runner, but regardless of who emerges, the O-line will pave the way to a big season.
