Premier League Transfer Rumors: Dimitar Berbatov, Joe Cole, Gago, Hart, Bellamy

As the Premier League season heads toward its climax in mid-May, the transfer speculation will grow ever more intense.

The clubs who've fallen short will be desperate to bolster for next season, while those who've exceeded expectations will naturally be looking to achieve even greater success in 2011-12.

Expect big spenders Manchester City and Chelsea to be linked to just about every player in Europe, and every player negotiating a new contract to be hysterically tipped for a move elsewhere.

Tottenham Want Liverpool's Joe Cole for £5 Million

Liverpool and England midfielder Joe Cole could be on his way to Tottenham in the summer to be reunited with former boss Harry Redknapp.

Redknapp worked with Cole back in his West Ham days, and the relationship could pave the way for a move to White Hart Lane.

Caughtoffside.com suggest a fee in the region of £5 million might be enough to take Cole back to London.

The 29-year-old joined Liverpool from Chelsea last summer but has thus far struggled to make the kind of impact many people suggested he might.

Manchester United's Dimitar Berbatov Wanted by Bayern Munich

Talksport.co.uk claim Dimitar Berbatov will be targeted by Bayern Munich in the summer, if his contract talks at Manchester United continue to stall.

The Bulgarian is currently the Premier League's top scorer, but the rise of Javier Hernandez at Old Trafford has had some suggesting he's fallen to third in the pecking order of strikers behind the Mexican and United's Wayne Rooney.

Reports suggest Bayern will offer in the region of £10 million, which would represent a huge loss for United on the £30 million they paid Tottenham for Berbatov.

Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton Want Real Madrid's Fernando Gago

Talksport.co.uk are also responsible for linking Real Madrid's Fernando Gago to a move to the Premier League.

The Argentine midfielder has fallen out of favor under Jose Mourinho at Madrid and is thought to be a target for Liverpool, Tottenham and Everton.

Gago's price tag is being touted at £10 million, with Talksport adding that Liverpool are seen as favorites to sign him, according to reports in Spain.

Manchester City Want Wolves Keeper Wayne Hennessey

The Daily Mirror have linked Manchester City with a move for Wolves and Wales goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

The 24-year-old is apparently being lined up as a backup for City's Joe Hart, with Shay Given likely to be allowed to leave Eastlands in the summer.

Hennessey started his career at City before being released and proving himself in the Premier League with Wolves.

Craig Bellamy to Return to Manchester City from Cardiff

Craig Bellamy is facing up to the reality he'll be back at Manchester City next season.

The fiery striker is currently on loan at Championship side Cardiff City, but he is not keen on extending the deal for another year and has admitted Cardiff probably can't afford to buy him.

Bellamy still has a year to run on his deal at City, but having struggled to make himself a key player for Roberto Mancini, he fears he could spend another season on the sidelines.

Juventus Want Manchester City Striker Carlos Tevez

Talksport.co.uk reports Juventus will make a summer move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The Italians are also said to be interested in Tevez's Argentina teammates Javier Mascherano and Sergio Aguero.
