Be True to Your School: Which Schools Have the Most Fans Buying Licensed Stuff?

Larry BurtonMar 7, 2011

We've all bought those caps and shirts and other souvenirs or apparel with the "officially licensed" tag on it. Sales of merchandise that is licensed by the university creates another revenue stream for the school.

Let's take a look at who that company is and how the rankings went.

The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) is a division of a division of global sports and entertainment company IMG. Founded in 1981, CLC is the oldest and largest collegiate licensing agency in the U.S. and currently represents nearly 200 colleges, universities, bowl games and athletic conferences, as well as the Heisman Trophy and the NCAA.
