Miami Hurricanes Football: 2011 Combine Results for Miami Hurricanes Players

Marcus SessionMar 2, 2011

Everyone knows about the tradition of the Miami Hurricanes and their players being successful in the NFL, as they have boasted the highest number of players in the league over all other colleges for a long time.

In recent years, the Hurricanes have not had a lot of players selected on draft day, but have managed to have a lot of players signed to free agent contracts. At the 2011 NFL combine, there are nine Hurricanes trying to impress NFL teams for better draft position.

Even in the a “down” period for Miami football, several Hurricanes still managed to get on the leader board in terms of performance, but there were also some disappointing statistics as well. While DeMarcus Van Dyke was the fastest player at the combine posting a 4.28 40-yard dash time, he was also the weakest by posting only five repetitions on the bench press (225 lbs.), which was a combine low.
