Blake Griffin Dunk Video: Slam Dunk Champion Throws Down Alley-Oop One Handed
Blake Griffin throws down a sweet dunk?
No way.
The Slam Dunk Contest champion was at it again against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night.
In the Los Angeles Clippers' first game since the All-Star break, Griffin finds yet another way to wow the crowd.
Baron Davis stands at the three-point line and only needs one quick fake to keep the defenders on their feet.
Griffin backdoor cuts fellow dunk contest participant Serge Ibaka and the sky is the limit.
Look out, Nick Collison!
The NBA's biggest dunk machine catches the ball with one hand and throws it down with ease.
Just another day at the office for Griffin. He finished the game with 28 points on an efficient 9-of-15 from the field while also grabbing 11 boards and dishing out eight assists.
But like much of the Clippers season...the game ended in a blowout loss. The Thunder smacked the Clips upside the head by a 111-to-88 count. OKC cruised to victory without much help from its two All-Stars.
The Thunder were able to weather a 8-of-21 shooting performance from Kevin Durant and a 3-for-11 outing from Russell Westbrook.
The difference was in the turnovers—the Thunder only had a whopping six turnovers while the Clips had 15.
Griffin continues to make the top highlight on SportsCenter while his team continues to be less than competitive in the Western Conference.
