College Football 2011: 20 Players/Coaches to Follow on Twitter
Ever wonder what Les Miles is eating for breakfast? Or you want up to the minute West Virginia football news? Well then this list is the place for you.
Twitter is one of the biggest phenomenons in sports right now, with plenty of athletes and coaches opting to use 140 characters or less to keep their fans updated throughout the day.
A lot of programs have banned the use of Twitter, and this list does not only include your mainstream players and coaches, but more diverse ones who are all worth following.
This list includes twenty players and coaches that you must follow on Twitter if you are a college football fan.
Be sure to comment below with other players and coaches who should be followed.
Bill Stewart- CoachStewart
1 of 20
Stewart uses his Twitter account to keep West Virginia football fans in the loop about what is going on with the football program.
He will also tweet a lot about prior West Virginia players and the great things they are doing after their playing days with him.
Stewart is great to follow if you only want to know about the football program, and not random things that are going on in his life.
His Twitter account can be found here.
Les Miles- LSUCoachMiles
2 of 20
Les Miles is one of the best coaches to follow on Twitter because he will actually respond to fans who tweet him.
Besides responding to fans questions, Miles is also similar to Stewart in that he often is talking about past players who have gone on to the NFL.
Miles does not tweet that often, but he seems to really have picked it up the past few weeks and could be doing it more moving forward.
His Twitter account can be found here.
Mike London- CoachMikeLondon
3 of 20
Mike London was great on signing day, when he included a video of every single recruit on his Twitter feed.
London seems to forget that he has a twitter account at times, but then at other times he will Tweet ten times in a single day.
London seems to try very hard to get Virginia fans out to the stadium, and ends almost every tweet with him hoping to see the stadium packed next game.

Tressel started to post again this January, and will probably start to really pick it up as Ohio State's season comes closer.

A coach you may have never heard of, Willie Taggart of Western Kentucky is actually very funny on Twitter, and worth the follow.
Taggart was tweeting all the ares codes of his recruits during signing day and actually at one point tweeted, "Void last area code. Don't know that kid. Lol!"
Because Taggart is a younger coach he seems to understand and use Twitter better.

DJ Fluker, an offensive lineman at Alabama, may have been one of the best high school players a few year back, and now he has one of the most interesting Twitter profiles out there.
His profile reads: "I'm a man of my word. I love to get crunk. If you gotta a problem I'll solve it. When I get crunk you don't want the business. Best believe I'll set it off."
Fluker uses a lot of Twitter lingo in his posts, which at times is difficult to understand, but even with that he is still worth following.

Mike Golic Jr, a lineman at Notre Dame, is Mike Golic from Mike and Mike in the Mornings son, and has the same sense of humor as his dad.

Golic and a lot of his Notre Dame teammates like to tweet with each other, which makes for an entertaining read and an inside look at the program.
