LeBron James Video Has The King Singlehandedly Romping The Magic

LeBron James and the Miami Heat faced a pivotal showdown last night and passed the test.

On the road against the Orlando Magic, who were only three and a half games back in the Southeastern Division, Miami survived a fourth quarter rally to claim a 104-100 victory.

James was absolutely dominant in the win. The King scored 23 points in the first quarter to give Miami an early lead. He made his first 11 shots. 

"Just playing this team got me going," James said. "We understand that it wasn't just any regular-season game. There were a lot of things said about us in the offseason that came from this organization. So we just wanted to come in here and play to our abilities and make a statement."

Miami led by 16 heading into the fourth quarter, as the Magic's Jameer Nelson (22 points) sparked a comeback infront of the Orlando hometown crowd. 

Now ahead just 94-88, James nailed a three (his third of the night) to stem the tide. 

He would finish the night with 11 assists, eight rebounds and a season-high 51 points on 17-of-25 shooting from the field. 

It was the ninth time the King dropped half-a-hundred and the first time he's done so with his new club. 

The streaky Heat (after winning 21 of 22 games, they dropped four of five) won their fourth straight. 

The Heat now own a 2-1 edge in the all-important head-to-head showdown, which could ultimately determine the winner of t he Southeastern division. 

Miami hosts the Magic again on March 3rd in the series finale.
