Jadeveon Clowney, Cyrus Kouandjio and The Top Remaining Uncommitted Recruits

Edwin WeathersbyJun 7, 2018

With National Signing Day wrapping up, most of the top prospects have made their decisions and are signed, sealed and delivered to their future programs.

Yet, the nation's top two players remain uncommitted and are free game to recruit by any school in America. There also a couple of other interesting prospects out there who still free game.

Let's check the top uncommitted players still out there.

5. Zachary Witchett, ATH

1 of 5

Withcett is a 6'0", 185-pound ATH from Atlanta, Georgia.

He's an excellent athlete with very good play speed and instincts. His frame is chiseled and muscular, and he plays with great explosion and burst.

He's a bit unknown but does have an offer from Western Kentucky. He could be a sleeper at safety down the road.

4. Aubrey Coleman, ATH

2 of 5

Coleman is a 6'6", 215-pound physical marvel and listed as an ATH.

He has a great athleticism and is versatile to play defensive end, tight end or wide receiver in college. Many feel he will end up as a defensive end. His frame has the potential to pack on a good amount of weight and girth to up in the trenches.

Right now he's looking at Washington to call home.

3. Jacoby Brissett, QB

3 of 5

Brissett is one of the top players in the country, regardless of position.

At 6'5" and 225 pounds, Brissett is a terror as a dual-threat quarterback. He can make plays with his arms and his legs, outside the pocket, running, on-the-run throws and inside the pocket.

He's also an excellent basketball player who will likely suit up on the hardwood and gridiron wherever he goes.

He's down to Washington, Miami and Florida and could announce Friday night.

2. Cyrus Kouandjio, OT

4 of 5

The Cyrus saga continues.

The 6'7", 325-pound left tackle prospect verballed to Auburn, but Gene Chizik's fax machine never rang from the Maryland area. Kouandjio has not signed his LOI and is wavering, thus he remains a free prospect.

New Mexico and Alabama are the other two schools in he race, and Kouandjio says he will not fax his signed LOI until he is sure of a decision.

1. Jadeveon Clowney, DE

5 of 5

Clowney is the top overall player in America, and has delayed his decision. He's not doing it for more hype, fame, glitz nor glamour.

Clowney just doesn't know what he wants to do. There are 120 schools in America who know what Clowney should do, but the 6'6", 250-pounder told ESPN he has no clue.

We do know this. The race is down to South Carolina, Alabama and Clemson. He will make his announcement on Valentine's Day, his birthday.
