Curtis Grant Announcement: What No. 2 Recruit in the Nation Brings to Ohio State

The nation's No. 2 prospect, Curtis Grant, just declared that he is signing with the Ohio State University Buckeyes!

Signing an athlete of this caliber is potentially a program-making moment for any school. Obviously, Ohio State doesn't have to worry about any program-making moments, however. That program is one of the nation's elite already.

Curtis Grant is the No. 2 prospect in the country for good reason. 

Grant is a big linebacker who runs like a gazelle. According to Rivals.com, Grant needs to work on his flexibility, but his athleticism alone should be enough for him to contribute almost immediately.

According to Mike Farrell of Rivals.com, Grant already looks like a college junior. If he comes in playing like one, Grant could make a huge difference for Ohio State right off the bat.

What Curtis Grant Means To ....

According to Ferrell, Grant could be the most athletic linebacker ever to play for the Ohio State University. 

If you haven't been in a hole for the last 25 years you know exactly how big that statement is. Of course, a lot of it is still potential, but given Grant's strength, size, and speed this could very well be the biggest signing of the day for any program.  

This signing makes Ohio State a consensus top ten in national recruiting.
