Gambling On The Games: NCAA Football Week Four

It would have been a great week if UCLA would not have been massacred by the BYU Fighting Mormons. Ah well if if's and but's were apples and nuts....

Last Week

The last massacre in Utah like this was BYU over Arkansas at Mountain Meadows. UCLA minus three units.

No line on Syracuse Northeastern this week. Last week "Uncle Junior" Joe Paterno sent Greg Robinson to sleep with the fishes. PSU plus two units.

Tennessee took out its anger on UAB. Vols plus one unit.

Ohio State and the Big Ten have become embarrassments in marquee out of conference match ups. OSU and the sweater vested Coach minus one unit.

Even with his cat like quickness Charlie Weis couldn't avoid the ACL injury but he brought home the win. Irish plus one unit.

Even for the week. Plus seven units for the year.

This Week:

Temple + 28 at Penn State

Joe Paterno has one of his sneakily good squads and he thinks this team might give one last run at the Big Ten crown. Over matched Temple should expect no mercy  in Happy Valley.

Penn State 52 Temple 14 for one unit.

Rutgers -6 at Navy

Navy's been sunk by Duke and Ball State. Rutgers finally comes alive and runs it up on the over matched Midshipman.

Rutgers 45 Navy 18 for one unit

Troy plus 20 1/2 at Ohio State

The Buckeyes will be bullies again, safely away from boys their own size.

Ohio State 41 Troy 6 for one unit

Its not a particularly good card this week so how about a few total stabs...

Under 56 in West Virginia vs Colorado for one unit.

Under 61 in Navy vs Rutgers for one unit.

Over  38 in the LSU vs Auburn for one unit.
