But Ferguson has found new ways to score goals, and remain one of the top teams in England, and all of Europe.

Wayne Rooney had a great season in 2010, scoring lots of goals and leading United to a second place finish in the Premier League. This season, much maligned striker Dimitar Berbatov has become a dependable player, and has been huge filling in for Rooney, who has been battling injury and an alleged affair.

United have looked great against the top teams this season. They beat Valenica, the toughest team in their Champions League group, and have beaten Arsenal and Liverpool at Old Trafford this year.

Manchester United still have to play Chelsea twice, and Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham once more.

It will take a lot of gritty performances to remain unbeaten. This 2011 Premier League season has been one of the most unpredictable in a long time.

There are five teams with a legitimate chance to win the league, and the four Champions League qualification spots will be wanted equally as much as the league trophy.

The last team to go unbeaten in the Premier League since Arsenal during the 2003-04 season, but Manchester United could become the next unbeaten team this season.
