College Football Signing Day Is Feb. 2: Who Will Have The Best Recruiting Class?

Doug BrodessJun 7, 2018

The lifeblood of any college football program is effective recruiting.

Unless you get talent on campus and develop it once you get it there, it's hard to realize success on the field.

This list shows that most recent accomplishments or failures is not the final word in determining recruiting results.

One of the teams that played for the national championship was not even in this list.

The top team didn't even make a bowl game.

While ranking recruiting classes is far from an exact science, three media outlets stand apart from the rest in terms of reliability and comprehensive coverage.

They are: Rivals.com, ESPN.com and Scout.com.

The following Top Ten recruiting class rank combines the current rankings from these three websites.

Each of their up-to-the-minute evaluations are listed here, as well as a mention of the school's top recruit.
