Analysis of the Internet Wrestling Community: Several Things They Think and Want

The Internet Wrestling Community (IWC) are basically a mature Pro Wrestling fan base.

As far as I have noticed they love Daniel Bryan, hate John Cena, respect Vince McMahon but, dislike a lot of his decisions and they literally bow down to CM Punk.

I have to admit, I am a victim of sharing a similarity of all the same emotions and feeling on the above statements.

Let us look now, look through the ten and hopefully enjoy the list.

"John Cena should job to CM Punk at the Rumble, Chamber and definitely WrestleMania 27."

My Opinion: Before I go on a rant on this heading, I must just say now, I respect Cena but I hate the way he is booked and I absolutely hate the way his character has been going ever since about 2006.

Now with that said, I love CM Punk, his character, his in-ring skills, his mic skills, his look on pro wrestling and definitely his commentary.

Both men are in the classical, Face vs. Heel feud where the face has all the odds against him but some say he will win and remain in the same state way he was before the feud.

We continuously see this with Cena and almost every rivalry he enters and lately we have also seen it from the likes of The Big Show, Edge, Rey Mysterio and sadly the talented Randy Orton.

I expect that we will see Cena vs. Punk at WrestleMania and the build up will be pretty traditional.

The current feud will carry on in small doses and the Rumble will be most likely won by CM Punk and that means Cena will most likely win the RAW Elimination Chamber match.

Which means John Cena will be the WWE Champion as we head into WrestleMania and CM Punk will be the number one contender.

This should not be the situation, however. As this match does not need the title because someone like The Miz or John Morrison are not established enough to go into a high-profiled feud without the title up for grabs.

"John Morrison should have been World Champion years ago."

My Opinion: The fact of the matter is John Morrison, as a heel, had the ability to maintain his perfect look and incredible in-ring skills, he also had his mic skills which he has oddly lost.

At the minute, WWE is trying to push Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Ezekiel Jackson, Santino Marella, Tyson Kidd and CM Punk.

I am 100 percent content with that, so if WWE are intending to stall Morrison's push again I would understand and not be disappointed.

I do think that WWE screwed up and that Morrison should have won the World Title years ago when he was beating the likes of CM Punk and more.

I know recently in matches against Sheamus and The Miz he has been amazing and arguably he was stronger in those matches than he was in matches against Punk on SmackDown in 2009.

"David Otunga is only a WWE star because of his personal life."

David Otunga is currently married to celebrity Jennifer Hudson.

On August 10, 2009, Hudson gave birth to her and Otunga's first child, a boy named David Daniel Otunga, Jr.

My Opinion: People think that Vince cares more about putting a "celebrity" in his business and in matches against Cena, then he would about pushing more deserving stars in the right direction.

I think if David Otunga has a great look and enough mic skills to carry him until he improves on his current (poor) in-ring skills.

The WWE is definitely high on Otunga and I think with the WWE Otunga will have a good future ahead of him whether Nexus improves or not.

I think in a year or two, he will be a legit contender for a secondary title and maybe, just maybe, he may even become a possible World Title contender.

Time will tell.

"R-Truth will be released soon and is only a filler."

R-Truth had a great run in TNA iMPACT as a main event star and even as a World Champion.

Before that, R-Truth spent two years in the WWE (it was called WWF at the time) and he featured with the name "Ron Killings."

My Opinion: R-Truth is very talented in the ring and his gimmick is definitely annoying and in "your face" but, the kids love.

He is a "filler," but his matches against Alberto Del Rio were entertaining and he is doing his job perfectly well so why is everyone so against him?

He may have only held the US Title for a couple of weeks and made no difference in the business whatsoever but he did defeat Chris Jericho cleanly.

He certainly deserves credit for that accomplishment, if he is getting none for his US Title run.

"Daniel Bryan will be World Champion sooner or later."

My Opinion: Daniel Bryan is an amazing athlete and is definitely the next Chris Benoit (controversy aside) or Chris Jericho.

He is the best technical wrestler currently on the entire roster, RAW or SmackDown, or even in Florida Championship Wrestling.

WWE has recently added the Bella Twins to his gimmick and with all the hate from Michael Cole, I can comfortably say I am satisfied with his gimmick and definitely his skills.

I think another Miz and Daniel Bryan feud with Alex Reilly in the mix would be incredibly entertaining. We have seen it for the US Title and it was great so it would also be fantastic for the Indy scene for Daniel Bryan to be World Champion

That would give all talented young competitors in Ring of Honor or other Indy promotions the confidence to advance to greatness.
