Arsenal Keeper Manuel Almunia Could Be on His Way Out
Manuel Almunia, Arsenals former No. 1 goal keeper has been absent in goal since Arsenals devastating 3-2 loss to West Bromwich Albion in September. Since then there has been much speculation about Almunia's future at Arsenal. Almunia has been struck with elbow injuries that have kept him out of the game and in his absence Fabianski has staked his claim for the No. 1 spot.
Now there is more competition for Almunia, as after young goal keeper Wojciech Szczesny proved his reliability in the match against Manchester United, it left some wondering whether there was still room in the squad for the Spaniard.

Almunia has had a rocky career as Arsenals No. 1, but now with the Spaniard not getting any starts in three months it looks like he may be ready to move on.
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that the Spanish goal keeper has been getting offers from clubs in Spain. “Manuel Almunia is a case I will treat with him. It’s up to him [whether he stays],” said Wenger, “It’s never easy [to be out of the team] but that’s part of our job”.
There has been interest from Spain but it’s difficult to give a percentage over whether he’ll stay or not. So the rest of Almunia's career now rests in his own hands.
So far he has been linked to Malaga, Villareal, and Athletico Madrid.
It’s seems very likely that Almunia will be making a move to Spain soon. What does everyone think about Almunia’s options? Do you think that Almunia can make his way back into the first team?
