NBA Trade Rumors: O.J. Mayo and Players That Could Be On The Move

Frank FittipaldiDec 30, 2010

O.J. Mayo

It has been rumored that the many teams are after Grizzlies' O.J. Mayo, including the Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls.

This is ironic for the Timberwolves because they were the team who originally drafted Mayo but traded him in order to get rebounding machine Kevin Love.

The Bulls are in search for a shooting guard and Mayo could be the perfect fit, but according to ESPN Insider, the Grizzlies are not looking to move Mayo.

Johnny Flynn, Sebastian Telfair and Luke Ridnour

It is possible that all three point guards in Minnesota can be available for trade.

It has been rumored that the New York Knicks are interested in a backup point guard but they prefer Ridnour over Telfair.

ESPN Insider also reported that Ricky Rubi will come over from Spain to play with the Timberwolves, so does that mean Johnny Flynn is out?

Carmelo Anthony

We have all heard the rumors about Carmelo Anthony being traded to the Knicks or the Nets, but where will Melo end up.

Well, it has been reported by CBS Sports that the Nets are sick of this game and will back off in their pursuit of Carmelo Anthony.

This is hard to believe because the Nets were a serious contender to acquire Melo, now they are backing away.

If this is true, it is great for the New York Knicks, who can swoop right in and be the favorites to add No. 15.
