Carlos Tevez Reportedly Ready To Quit Manchester City
The breaking news out of the Premier League at the moment is that Manchester City's Carlos Tevez has handed in a written transfer request that would see him leave Eastlands during the next transfer window.
It was just last week when Tevez's public altercation with manager Roberto Mancini seemed to confirm reports that had been circulating for weeks that there is serious friction within the City camp.
The dispute came after Tevez, the teams captain and top goal scorer, was substituted during his sides win against Bolton after scoring what turned out to be the only goal.

There have many reports of disharmony amongst the city players with further evidence of this found in a recent training session in which Mancini had to break up a brawl between Jerome Boateng and Mario Balotelli. Not so super Mario also followed his captains example in today's win over West Ham.
Balotelli, playing because Tevez was suspended, put on a fine display of childish petulance and after failing to do his best Tevez impression on the pitch, gave an immaculate impersonation off it as he stormed down the tunnel when he was substituted, giving all City fans an unpleasant sense of de ja vu.
After each infantile act Mancini has tried to extenuate the situation putting each one down to competitiveness, but if this latest story is true then he'll have a hard job trying to play down this latest development.
If Tevez were to leave, Eastlands City would be hard pressed to find an equal replacement for their Argentinian strkier despite their infiiate wealth. Tevez has scored 33 times in 55 games since signing from bitter rivals Manchester United, and his talismanic performances, constant energy and great popularity amongst the fans have seen Tevez named Manchester City's captain.
He was one of the many highly priced, highly publicised signings City have made since Sheikh Mansour injected bottomless sums of money into the club.
If these initial reports were to become fact and Tevez were to leave Manchester City there are already number of high profile clubs being linked with the 26 year olds services.
Inter Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid and even firmer club Boca Juniors are said to be interested, but Tevez will be sure to carry a lofty price tag if he is to leave the blue half of Manchester much to the disappointment of the City fans.
