Auburn Football Recruiting 2011: The Tigers Top Uncommitted Recruiting Targets
Considering that Auburn has taken the nation by storm this season, having the 20th ranked 2011 recruiting class is somewhat of a shocker; especially with how well things turned out with the 2010 class.
Unlike some other top programs though, Auburn isn't really in the mix for a whole lot of top-end talent.
After reviewing the Tigers' targets there's really only five guys out there that really get our attention. Now of course Auburn has extended offers to many more, but from a realistic standpoint these are your prospects to keep an eye on.
Here's the latest on Auburn's top uncommitted recruiting targets.

Auburn's Current 2011 Recruiting Class
1 of 6
5-star commitments: 0
4-star commitments: 7
3-star commitments: 6
Recruiting Class Rank: 20th
Auburn doesn't have the numbers, but what they do have is one of the best playmakers in the country in quarterback Kiehl Frazier.
He's one of the most underrated players in the country. I myself have probably undervalued him a bit as well in the latest rankings. Frazier is a born winner, and if the Tigers fail to gain a single additional commitment, they'll still be winners with him on board.
Add center Reese Dismukes, rated Top Five at his position, and tight end C.J. Uzomah, who has the potential to be the best tight end of the 2011 class, and Frazier looks like he has some good building blocks.
Brandon Fulse, TE
2 of 6
Fulse lines up at both defensive end and tight end for his high school team and many scouts predict he could find a home on either side of the ball, though he rates out better as an offensive talent.
At 6'5" and 245 lbs, he's got great size for the tight end position and is an athletic big man who can make plays in the passing game as well as hold his own in the trenches.
After a recent trip to Auburn, Fulse appears to be leaning toward the Tigers, but Miami, FSU, Tennessee, Texas Tech, and Alabama are all up for consideration as well.
Erique Florence, S
3 of 6
A top five safety in the 2011 class, Florence is a very instinctual player who can really put a licking on a ball-carrier. He's got solid form when tackling and often angles himself for the big hit—probably the most noticeable part of his game.
Florence always finds himself around the ball and when it's in the air near him, he's trying to make a play on it every time.
Over the last few months, the Alabama native has shown interest in several teams, but the in-state schools have consistently been his top two choices. At the moment, it appears as though Alabama and Auburn are deadlocked for his services.
Gabe Wright, DT
4 of 6
Wright's technique is raw, but he's very athletic and quick at the point of attack. He hits his man hard and drives, but doesn't stay low and has poor hand movement.
If he can polish up his skills and learn to disengage blockers better, Wright could be one of the best defensive tackles in the class.
Auburn has been in the driver's seat for Wright's services for awhile now, but Tennessee is also a serious contender. Alabama, Clemson, FSU and Georgia are in the mix as well.
Ray Drew, DE
5 of 6
Drew isn't the type of player you need to worry about causing problems off the field. He's a hard worker, a vocal player and a natural leader.
He'll step in from day one and grind it out at 100 percent from the minute the whistle is blown until the end of the day. An elite pass-rushing talent, Drew's size, athleticism and energy make him one of the most coveted defensive ends in the nation.
In November, Drew narrowed his choices down to Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame and UCLA.
He's taken official visits to Auburn and LSU, and is planning a visit to Georgia; those are the three to keep your eye on.
Greg Robinson, OT
6 of 6
Robinson was one of the top performers at the U.S. Army All-American Combine and a 4-star offensive tackle rated top 10 at his position.
At 6'5", 296 lbs, he's a big and physical player with a lot of upside.
He's a workout warrior who really impresses with his strength and agility, though his technique as a blocker is still a bit raw. He often struggles to stay low and doesn't adjust his feet very well.
Robinson is in the middle of a seesaw battle between Auburn and LSU. While he's certain to chose one of the two schools, it's unclear who's going to come out on top.
